Blue sky thinking
Wonderful clear blue sky all day but with a slight chill in the air. Should be lots of stars to see tonight. Walked down to Farigaig pier on Loch Ness and soaked up the amazing views. Most of the snow has now gone from the mountain tops at lower levels and enjoyed the feeling that Spring is on its way.

Fire in Boleskine House
Firefighters have been tackling a huge blaze in the west wing of Boleskine House on Loch Ness this afternoon. Almost 60% of the structure has been in flames and not sure of the cause yet......very sad.

Snow around Loch Ness
Snow showers this past week making it very picturesque although quite icy under foot. The mountains around Loch Ness have a good coating of snow and the CairnGorm mountains must be having a good start to the ski and Winter sports season.
